Tradeskills
So what else is there to do when you are sitting around LFG? Get those tradeskills up ofcourse!
Don't forget you can now do 'freebie' quests for most tradeskills to get you to a skill of 54 (see the Quests link page).
17/06/08 - Does anyone have a tailoring, baking or smithing guide that they can send to me so I can add it to the website? The guides on eqtraders.com are still valid, but out of date. Your contribution would be welcomed and I will put your name against it. Please send any guides via the contact page on the menu and include your ingame name and the server you play on. Thanks :)
Fletching
Here is a fletching guide, which I have now updated to include the Dragon of Norrath Expansion. The update is relevant to the magical arrows, which have increased in damage.
Foraging
Created by Siega from the Seventh Hammer server, the foraging compendium allows you to view foraging items in game by putting the following file in your EQ/Storyline folder:
My favourite tradeskill which I believe, is one of the best tradeskills for a ranger. Click below for my guide!
Foraging is a skill that allows the ranger and other classes to gather items (both edible and non edible) from their nearby surroundings. Yes, I know it isn't a tradeskill but is most certainly linked to tradeskills, especially brewing and alchemy. Below is an awesome guide which includes how to autoforage.
Brewing
Pottery Guide
This is also relevant to making Thurgadin Gate Potions:
Baking
Tailoring
Want to know how to make batwing crunchies and how to make stat enhancing goodies? Check out this 'power baking' guide:
Smithing
Rabbit Stew (baking trivial 68)
1 x pot (crafted by smithing 50 trivial, or purchase from players)
1 x foraged rabbit meat
1 x water flask
Combine in an oven or spit to create a 'hearty meal' - yummy!
Thanks to Broogan Dreadbow for this recipe suggestion.
